I found Chemo and he is a nasty, poisonous fun hater. The fanny pack is still bad ass.
Where do we go from here?
I have a CT scan scheduled for October 3rd, the same day I start round 5 of chemo. The purpose of this scan is to analyze the status of my cancer. Has it spread, is it stable or has it “shrunk”?
I want to thank all the people who read my last journal entry and reached out about helping. You are all loved!
Steph Brumley-Folger made us a Pepperoni Pizza Pasta Casserole and I am still laying in bed dreaming of it. I also like to say it repeatedly, solely based on the alliteration. I recommend trying it. Say it with me, “PEPPERONI PIZZA PASTA!!!!”
Angie got me some alkaline water and it tastes like rust on a flag pole right now due to the chemo. I know this about the flag pole because I read it somewhere, not because I was a stupid kid (yeah, right).
People often ask me how I stay positive. This is a fair question. Here is my answer. Have you met Angie? She lights up the room wherever she is and if you don’t smile when she is around, you are not human.
